May 17, 2013 (St. Louis, Mo.) — Premium cigar maker Table 36 Cigars, has just debuted “Integrity,” their second boutique cigar. In 2012, Table 36 Cigars introduced the first product in what they call their “Core Values” lineup, a boutique premium cigar named “Fellowship.”

Integrity is provided by Alec Bradley Cigars, creator of some of the world’s highest-rated labels. The cigars are manufactured at tobacco and cigar legend Nestor Plasencia’s Tabacos de Oriente factory, in Esteli, Nicaragua. Integrity comes in the same four shapes as Fellowship…Corona Gorda (5.5″ x 46), Robusto (5″ x 50), Toro (6″ x 50) and their proprietary V58 (6.5″ x 58). Its soft box press shape is comfortable in the fingers and mouth, a seldom-seen but welcome touch.

Bob Atchisson, founder and president of Table 36 Cigars, reports, “Integrity complements the Fellowship line, bringing the number of shapes to four in each of the two brands, for a total of eight choices. Following Table 36’s first cigar release, the Fellowship in 2012, retailers signed up for the line, citing its ‘value’… offering world-class boutique performance at suggested retail pricing of $7.15 to $8.60. This price range is attractive, considering its high ratings and the pricing of competitive boutique brands.

“Our handmade, 100% long-filler Integrity is a multi-region blend for complexity and depth of flavors. It features a wrapper of Jalapa (Viso) that delivers Cuban strength and flavor from its Havana origin. The filler blend is Esteli Viso, Condega Ligero, and Jalapa Ligero. The double binder is Jalapa Seco and Esteli Viso that routinely produces a 2″ ash. This cigar was blended for the smoker who is looking for that robust and spicy Cuban taste. Entubado (tubed) arrangement of the filler leaves assures free-flowing smoke and even burns.”

Integrity cigars are individually cellophane-wrapped and presented in high-quality boxes of twenty cigars. The cigar will begin appearing at retailers this June

Atchisson adds a further note of interest to Table 36 devotees: “Integrity is the first of two new blends we will release this year. The second, ‘The Peacemaker,’ is an open-foot ‘shaggy’ cigar that harkens back to the days of saddle tramps and side arms. It will appear at retailers nationwide in August.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for MLB.com, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
