“The Symphony 20 has achieved a height of rich elegance and taste hitherto unknown outside of Cuba – far exceeding our expectations. Henke Kelner and Eladio Diaz have honored us yet again with this incredible blend.” -Dr. Paul Garmirian
In 1990, Paul Garmirian launched the PG Gourmet Series in 6 sizes. This would mark the introduction of the Belicoso to the American market (until then, the Belicoso Fino name and size had been used only in a Cuban cigar). The Belicoso (6 1/4 x 52) with its tapered head, has consistently been the bestselling PG size.
The Bombones (3 1/2 x 43) is PG’s everyday cigar. It is an old Cuban size from the turn of the century that PG came across in his research. He has been craving the Symphony 20 blend in a “bonbon” size since realizing that some evenings, there isn’t enough time to smoke a Symphony 20 Connoisseur. The Symphony 20 Bombones Extra has a larger ring gauge; from 43 to 46.
In Dr. Garmirian’s words, “A meatier version of the Bonbones.”
