December 2, 2013 — The world’s top cigar brands produced in the Segovia region of Nicaragua will be savored and enjoyed by the most demanding cigar connoisseurs during the Third International Cigar Festival “Nicaragua, Puro Sabor” to be held in Managua and Estelí on January 15-17, 2014 and organized by the Nicaraguan Cigar Association.

The International Cigar Festival will gather personalities, investors, buyers, and aficionados who will share experiences and industry know-how, showcasing the attributes and qualities of our land and our people, while enjoying international award-winning cigars, said Mr. Nestor Andres Plasencia, President of the Nicaraguan Cigar Association. Puro Sabor, which in Spanish means Full of Flavor, “will be a great party full of aroma, flavor and emotions, an experience which is very important to our industry because we will be presenting Nicaraguan top quality tobaccos to traders from all continents,” said Plasencia.

The festival will open in Managua with an exquisite Caribbean dinner hosted at Pueblo Viejo Hotel, a Mountainous Location in the outskirts of the capital with more than 200 participants from many countries, including renowned journalists from prestigious Cigar media outlets, Cigar Manufacturers and National Authorities. During the second day, participants will travel to Estelí where they will enjoy a delicious “parillada”, an equestrian parade, and visits to the most beautiful Tobacco plantations in the region. During the evening, dinner will be served at Plaza Domingo Gadea and a popular party will be organized for tobacco workers with more than 5,000 guests. In the third day, attendees will also visit some of the most important and emblematic Cigar factories in Estelí, and will be able to share in the knowledge of the manufactures and artisans who make our cigars amongst the best in the world.

During the festival, aficionados will enjoy top cigar brands produced in the country, the best rum, and the best of Nicaraguan cuisine.

Participation fees for the NICARAGUA PURO SABOR festival are $690 dollars per person in a single room, and $640 per person in a double room.
