Plasencia Cigars has announced the creation of a new collaborative cigar with Davidoff’s retail stores that will hit stores on May 2.
The Plasencia for Davidoff of Geneva — since 1911 is a Nicaraguan puro that comes in a 6 x 52 belicoso that is limited to a production run of 300 20-count boxes, or just 6,000 individual cigars. Plasencia describes it as a medium to full-bodied cigar that uses tobacco from sustainably treated plants that is then aged for over seven years. The cigar is rolled at the Plasencia Cigars S.A. factory in Estelí, Nicaragua.
It is priced at $16 per cigar.
“We are honored to partner with Davidoff of Geneva — since 1911 to share the ideal combination of flavors and blends that perfectly represent both of our brands, in one savoring cigar,” said Nestor Andrés Plasencia, ceo of Plasencia Cigars, via a press release. “Plasencia Cigars for Davidoff of Geneva — since 1911 symbolizes the commitment of both brands to serve and provide consumers with the highest quality products in the industry.”
The new cigar will be launched during an event from 7-10 pm on May 2 at the Davidoff of Geneva — since 1911 store at Brookfield Place in New York City. The cigar will then be available exclusively at Davidoff of Geneva — since 1911 flagship stores and online at us.davidoffgeneva.com.
“Plasencia for Davidoff of Geneva — since 1911 beautifully represents Davidoff of Geneva — since 1911’s quest for outstanding cigar experiences, providing only the finest blends for aficionados to celebrate and enjoy,” said Lana Fraser, director of marketing of Davidoff of Geneva USA, in a statement. “Plasencia Cigars, in collaboration with Davidoff of Geneva — since 1911 have found the perfect synergy and balance to create an enticing and elegant blend that will create a unique and memorable experience.
