Peter James Leather Co., best known to cigar smokers for its “cigar organizers,” has announced a new smaller and affordable case option.

The Core Collection is a new line of leather cases that measure 8 inches x 4 x 2. Inside each case is a cigar holder that is made of metal and wrapped in leather. It is designed to hold three cigars measuring up to 7 3/4 x 60. On the other side of the interior are three pouches that are designed to hold lighters, cutters and other small accessories. There is also a mdidle slot that could be used to hold a pen or draw tool.

It will launch in African Havana Leather, though the company told halfwheel that there will be other options added in the future, including Italian napa leather.

“This piece embodies the very foundation Peter James Leather company was built on back in 2013,” said the company in a statement to halfwheel. “Bringing to market the first luxury, handmade travel cigar case that was stylish, highly durable and undoubtedly functional. With this in mind, “The Core Collection” was born – designed to capture the essence of where we began but using a minimalistic approach, it carries exactly what you require for a quick adventure.”

Peter James says The Core Collection will go on sale next Friday with an estimated MSRP of $325 per case.
