PCA 2022: Bosquet Paris

One of the companies I was looking forward to seeing the most at PCA 2022 was Bosquet Paris. I’m not sure if I had ever heard of the company before we started prepping for this year’s trade show, but I became curious once I saw what it was. Bosquet Paris is a company that primarily makes humidors and cigar cases, though it also has some other accessories.

Most interesting, Bosquet Paris sells humidors that are priced as high as £28,000 ($33,000).

I certainly didn’t expect the company to bring all of its high-end or even higher-end models, but I was hoping it would bring at least one to show off what the company is capable of. Unfortunately, that was not to be and while there were humidors on display, they appear to be amongst the company’s most affordable offerings ($750). For the most part, the Bosquet Paris booth was full of cigar cases. Also somewhat unfortunately, the lone employee who was at the booth when I stopped by spoke some English, but it was limited, though substantially better than my foreign language “skills.” So, I had to piece some of this together and am still unsure what some of the items I saw are.

Bosquet Paris Grain Calf Leather Two-Cigar Case 

I asked for what was new and was pointed to a variety of items, mostly cigar cases. Bosquet Paris makes this two-cigar case in a variety of different colors, including some I didn’t see on display. The cases measure 7.1 inches x 2.76. 1.06 and are capable of storing cigars up to 60 ring gauge.

Most of these cases have an MSRP of $109 and come with a five-year warranty.

There are two-cigar cases that are priced at $99 in the Bosquet Paris catalog, but those appear to be different in that there are two defined cylinders.

Bosquet Paris Ostrich Two-Cigar Case

This is the same size case as the calf leather ones above but made of ostrich.

It’s priced at $420 and also has a five-year warranty.

Bosquet Paris also makes these cases in crocodile leather. The crocodile ones are offered in a variety of finishes, priced at $429.

Bosquet Paris Exotic Cases

So this very much appears to be snakeskin cases, though I can’t find any reference to this on Bosquet Paris’ website or its catalog. If you are wondering, the three cigar cases appear to be priced at $139 for calfskin leather and $459 for crocodile.

Bosquet Paris Color Sprayed Humidor Blue

Bosquet Paris had two humidors of the same size and design but different colors, one blue and the other a muted green color. These measure 15.75 inches x 11.76 x 6.3 and are designed to hold 50 cigars. Each humidor comes with a hygrometer, divider and an unspecified number of Boveda packs.

It’s priced at $750, certainly on the higher end for a humidor of this size. That said, the humidor is striking in person and in pictures.
