After a constant barrage of seeing new, scaled-down booths, it was somewhat nice to see a company that was still using a more complex booth. Cigar Oasis’s booth is rather unique—and quite tall—and this year it had a really interesting product inside of it.

The booth itself has a four-sided structure inside of it that is—let me repeat—tall. Each panel has a different element, which allows for the company to separate its products in a manner that is great for a booth tour. Because I’m the one that always covers this booth and because Cigar Oasis doesn’t introduce that many new items per year, I’m a bit of a veteran when it comes to this booth visit. I know most of the people by their first names and as such, I can spot when there are both new faces and new items.

Cigar Oasis Humizone

The above link has all of the specs, so I’m not going to rehash them. This is a product that is designed for retail humidors, though if you are fortunate to have a walk-in humidor at home, this is certainly an option.

Chaim Kohn of Cigar Oasis said the units were selling well. Perhaps more importantly, he talked about how he would place both test units of the Humizone—Cigar Oasis showed off a very different prototype of this concept in 2016—and competitor products in various stores. It’s nice, and logical, to hear someone explain that they actually did some market research before introducing a product, and it shows.

Compared to the prototype that was shown off in 2016, the unit that is on sale today removed a lot of the more complicated features—lowering the price point—and is in a lot smaller package.

Kohn admitted that if you really wanted to, you could build your own system that does the same thing, but I imagine the sleeker design of the Humizone and the fact that it’s already assembled will encourage enough people to just save the time and go with this option from Cigar Oasis.
