In 2015, Paul Garmirian celebrated the 25th anniversary of his eponymous cigar company. As part of the celebration, the company released the Paul Garmirian 25th Anniversary Connoisseur (6 1/4 x 52). A year later, it followed it with a second size, the Short Robusto (4 1/2 x 52). Now, the company has released a third size.

The Paul Garmirian 25th Anniversary Belicoso measures 6 1/4 x 52. It uses the same blend as the other two vitolas: an Ecuadorian habano wrapper over a Dominican binder and four Dominican fillers. As with other Paul Garmirian cigars, it is made by Davidoff at the O.K. Cigar Factory in the Dominican Republic.

The MSRP is set at $24.90 per cigar and, as of now, only 200 boxes of 20 cigars have been released.

“For us, this is more than just another cigar,” said the company when it introduced the blend in 2015. “It was something in between our lines that was missing. We made hints and suggestions, graphs and charts, and the artists in the Dominican nodded silently. We waited until all the stars were aligned. This particular wrapper needed an extra nine months of fermentation.”

Garmirian, the person, is also the owner of McLean Cigars PG Boutique, a store in McLean, Va. In 1990, he published his book, “Gourmet Guide To Cigars,” and launched the first line of PG Cigars later that year, first as an exclusive to his shop before a national release in 1991.

Update — The original version of this story had incorrect pricing.
