Patoro is planning three new Dominican puros for this summer, each an extension of one of the company’s existing lines.

The Patoro VA XO Extra Belicoso, a 5 15/16 x 55 belicoso size. It’s an extension to the VA XO line, which also has a larger Salomones size. VA XO is made from Dominican tobacco that is aged between 9-12 years before the cigars are rolled.

Pricing for the new size is $30 and it will be offered in boxes of 30. The company says that it will offer 100 boxes split between 10 Patoro Ambassador retailers in the U.S.

In addition, there will be a second U.S. shipment of the Patoro VA XO Limited Edition Salomones, another limited production release that first came to America last year.

Dr. Pablo Richard, the company’s co-founder, told halfwheel he hopes to ship the cigars in June.

The company will add a 5 1/8 x 48 to the Patoro Vintage line. That blend is also a Dominican puro highlighted by a 10-year-old wrapper. It will be priced at $21.36 and sold in boxes of 20.

Finally, the Patoro Platino line—another Dominican puro—will receive a 6 3/10 x 50 perfecto. It is priced at $20.36 per cigar and will be sold in boxes of 25.

Patoro cigars are produced by De Los Reyes in the Domincian Republic.
