Palió Adds Basta Cutter, New Colors for Original Cutter
Quality Importers Trading Co. is adding four new cutters to its portfolio, all under the Palió brand name.
One (pictured above) is a new model, the Palió Basta, a double guillotine cutter designed to cut up to 90-ring gauge cigars. Its aperture is so large that it can actually fit an 80-ring gauge cigar through its opening. The Basta measures 1.75 inches x 3.75 x .25 and uses stainless steel blades.
It has an MSRP of $2.99 per cutter and it is sold to retailers in POP displays containing 24 cutters.
The Palió Original Cutter is now offered in three additional cutters: Matte Blue, Matte Gray and Matte Red. Like other Palió Original cutters, it’s a double guillotine cutter with a unique blade design that sees one blade stay in the body of the cutter while the other moves on a track. The cutter measures 3.75 inches x .5 x 2.75. It’s designed to cut cigars up to 60 ring gauge.
Each of the new color options has an MSRP of $24.99 per cutter. Like the Basta, the three new colors are shipping to stores.
