This year, Padrón will be offering members of the Tobacconists Association of America (TAA) a special 5 x 52 belicoso in the company’s 1964 line.

Scheduled for June, the Padrón 1964 TAA Exclusive will be offered in both Natural and Maduro versions.

The line is limited, although the company did not respond to a request to define how many boxes will be produced. Two retailers that attended the annual convention last week told halfwheel it is a one-time release for 2014, which also happens to be the 50th anniversary of the company.

The cigars are priced at $15 and $375 for a box of 25.

It joins new releases from Altadis USA, AVO, Crowned Heads, La Flor Dominicana, My Father, and Tatuaje.

As it has done for the past few years, the Padrón 1964 TAA Toro will still be available to members of the organization. In addition, the Acid Big Bang, Ashton VSG Robusto Especial, Rocky Patel 15th Anniversary TAA and Romeo y Julieta Magnum TAA will continue to be sold.
