Padilla’s Texas regional release has finally arrived in stores.
The 6 x 61 perfecto is a limited release made for retailers in Texas with a portion of the proceeds donated to the Texas Cigar Merchants Association (TXCMA). The blend uses a Cuban-seed Brazilian wrapper, an Ecuadorian binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.

A special edition, limited release for the great state of #Texas . The Padilla spirit of San Jacinto. Those familiar with Texas history will know the reference to its name. Only 100 boxes will be made. Contact Mr. Scott Lewis our Texas representative to reserve one. Or DM him here at @stogius_maximus he should be able if he isn’t eating brisket or tacos, or herding cattle (seriously) or all at the same time.
Perhaps most notably, the cigar is made by PDR Cigars in the Dominican Republic, a factory Padilla is not known for working with before.
The name references the Battle of San Jacinto, an 1836 fight that cemented Texas’ independence from Mexico.
Pricing is set at $9.99 per cigar and it is limited to 100 boxes of 10 cigars.
