Padilla’s Texas regional release has finally arrived in stores.

The 6 x 61 perfecto is a limited release made for retailers in Texas with a portion of the proceeds donated to the Texas Cigar Merchants Association (TXCMA). The blend uses a Cuban-seed Brazilian wrapper, an Ecuadorian binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua.

Perhaps most notably, the cigar is made by PDR Cigars in the Dominican Republic, a factory Padilla is not known for working with before.

The name references the Battle of San Jacinto, an 1836 fight that cemented Texas’ independence from Mexico.

Pricing is set at $9.99 per cigar and it is limited to 100 boxes of 10 cigars.
