Oliva Serie V Melanio Edición Año 2022 Begins Arriving in International Markets

The 2022 version of Oliva’s annual limited edition international exclusive has begun arriving at stores.

Since 2017, Oliva Cigar Co. has released a limited edition Serie V Melanio for its non-American markets. This year’s version has a slightly different name, it’s called the Serie V Melanio Edición Año 2022. It’s a 6 1/2 x 44 lonsdale; unlike the regular Melanio, which is box-pressed, this cigar is round. Like the regular Melanio blend, it uses an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and Nicaraguan fillers.

The price in Germany is €22 ($21.86) per cigar.

This is the sixth consecutive year Oliva has released a Melanio for international markets.

The Edición Año 2022 will not be offered in the U.S. Oliva said that the cigar has begun arriving in some markets and it will continue to ship the cigar through early 2023.
