It turns out America will get an Oliva Serie V Melanio NUb, albeit not the same one as the rest of the world.

As pointed out by reader CleverUserName, the upcoming Oliva Serie V Melanio 4×60 is a 4 x 60-sized Oliva Serie V Melanio. It’s the same dimensions as the recently-announced Oliva Serie V Melanio Edición Limitada 2021, a cigar that will be sold in international markets, but not the U.S.

While the two cigars share the same dimensions and blends, there are some differences. First, the American market version is box-pressed while the international one is round. Second, the American version will come in more standard boxes of 10 and are packaged without a ribbon.

Perhaps most importantly, the U.S. market versions have an MSRP of $13 compared to the €20 ($23.10) per cigar price of the international versions.

Oliva says it will begin shipping the Oliva Serie V Melanio 4×60 next week, it is limited to 8,000 boxes of 10 cigars.
