Oliva, Elie Bleu Collaborate for $21,000 Humidor

To mark what it calls “a tumultuous year around the world,” Oliva has commissioned a special humidor from Elie Bleu, the famous French humidor maker.

The Oliva XXI Selection Humidor features an image of a cigar being made on top and the Oliva logo on the front. There’s also a pull-out tray that can be used to store accessories. It measures 17.875 inches x 11.4 x 8.28.

The humidor comes with “no less than” 95 cigars, 21 of which are a new and exclusive cigar for this humidor.

It’s called the Oliva Serie V Melanio Figuriño, a 5 1/2 x 52 short figurado. Not only is this a new vitola for Oliva, but Figuriño uses packaging that is exclusive to the cigar and different from the rest of the Oliva Serie V Melanio line.

“Figuriño came about after long discussions between myself, Gilberto (Oliva) and the team at Elie Bleu,” said Fred Vandermarliere, owner of Oliva, in a press release. “It seemed appropriate to place 21 of these beautiful new cigars in our new humidor, made, of course, in 2021. Only 21 of them will ever be made. And the price? €21,000, of course.”

Even though the listed MSRP of the humidor is €21,000—which would convert to more than $24,000—Oliva clarified that the humidor will also be sold in the U.S. for $21,000. Despite being named after 2021, Oliva says the humidors won’t begin shipping until next year.

Each humidor will come with a variety of co-branded Elie Bleu accessories.
