Later this week, the international cigar industry will gather in Dortmund, Germany and while there, Oliva will show off two European exclusives.

One is the latest in the company’s Serie V Melanio line, a 5 x 50 vitola. While the Melanio is offered in a robusto, the Serie V Melanio Limitada 2018 will be a round version of the Melanio. This is the second consecutive year Oliva has sent a round Melanio to Europe.

The lack of box-press will come at a premium; pricing is expected to be around €20 per cigar. It is limited to 1,000 boxes of 10 cigars.

On the opposite side of the spectrum is the Cain Daytona Limitada, a 7 x 70 vitola priced at around €12 per cigar. It’s limited to 1,5000 boxes of 10.

The Cain Daytona is Oliva’s lightest Cain offering as far as strength. It’s a Nicaraguan puro that debuted in 2011.

Intertabac 2018 takes place Sept. 21-23.
