West Windsor Township is mulling new smoking restrictions that would ban smoking within 35 feet of most municipal ground, including parks. The Township Council will take up the matter on December 23 with current proposals calling for $250 fines for the first offense, $500 fines for the second offense and $1,000 fines for offenses thereafter.

West Windsor Township is located just outside of both Trenton and Princeton with a population just under 30,000.
