Late last week, retailers were informed of a new shipment from Andre Farkas’ stable, this time in the form of Late Harvest and Exclusivo. According to retailers, back again is Late Harvest LH 550, a 5 x 50 Robusto, and LH 648, a 6 x 48 Toro. Late Harvest is Viaje’s wine-inspired project that debuted at IPCPR 2011. For this, Farkas uses higher primings to create a cigar that is generally regarded as being a pretty sharp turn from Viaje’s typical profile. Viaje says both sizes will be priced at $8.85 or pricing boxes of $309.75. Both sizes are limited to 200 boxes meaning the total release for this shipment is 7,000 cigars.

For the Exclusivo line, a 5 x 52 Robusto is expected to arrive this week in what Viaje describes as “metallic bundles.” The Viaje Exclusivo Robusto first debuted in Jars in January 2010 and subsequent bundles in July of that year, but was a 4 7/8 x 50 Robusto. Only 250 bundles are expected with singles priced at $9.20.
