La Flor Dominicana brought an exclusive cigar to this year’s Texas Cigar Festival. The annual event hosted by Houston, Tex.-based retailer  Serious Cigars, most recently held April 20, gives bags of cigars to attendees, but also invites manufacturers and consumers to take place in special pricing.

This year, La Flor added something special, a box-pressed Toro in a complete different blend. Only 50 boxes of 10 were made with pricing set at $79.95 at the event. The blend featured a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, an undisclosed Sumatra binder and Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers. Not every box was sold by the end of the weekend and Serious Cigars is allowing for phone orders (1.866.372.4427) of what is described as between 10 and 15 remaining boxes.

It’s unclear if the pricing will be different than the festival which traditionally sees significant specials.
