Oliva Family of Cigars’ STUDIO TOBAC has unveiled its 2012 World Tour Sampler to halfwheel. Like last year’s World Tour Sampler 2011, the cigars will be offered as a promotional item at STUDIO TOBAC events throughout the world.

Once again, each sampler will contain six different cigars, although this year only five of them will be previously unreleased cigars never offered for sale, as the Cain Daytona Lancero was offered as part of the limited edition STUDIO TOBAC Executive Collection late last year.

Last year’s sampler included the Cain F Lancero, which at the time had not been offered for sale, but had been handed out at events twice prior to the STUDIO TOBAC World Tour. The Cain F Lancero went onto be offered for sale, the only cigar that appeared in the 2011 sampler to do so.

STUDIO TOBAC has confirmed to halfwheel the following six sizes:

  • NUb 460 USA Tobacco
  • Cain F Maduro Robusto
  • STUDIO TOBAC Prototype Connecticut ST-003
  • Cain Daytona Maduro Figurado
  • STUDIO TOBAC Prototype Habano Toro ST-002
  • Cain Daytona Lancero

Like last year, the World Tour will begin at Tampa Humidor in Tampa, FL, which has an Oliva lounge and recently hosted an Oliva event where a Master Blends humidor similar to the one seen here was given away. The additional dates are still being finalized, but will presumably be added to the STUDIO TOBAC calendar once confirmed.

Unlike 2011, STUDIO TOBAC has announced that they will not be giving away a vehicle as part of the World Tour, although the official STUDIO TOBAC vehicle will be a Ford F-150 Raptor SVT.

Oliva has said on numerous occasions that the Cain Daytona Lancero will never be offered again for sale.

STUDIO TOBAC was announced in late 2010 to serve as the parent of Oliva’s Cain and NUb brands.
