Sentinel Cigars Adds New Vitola to Little Havana Series – Ryan Job Line
Sentinel Cigars has announced a new addition to their Little Havana Series – Ryan Job line, a 6 x 52 Belicoso that is being made at El Titan de Bronze in Miami’s Little Havana neighborhood.
Like the other two cigars in the line – a 6 x 52 Toro and 5 x 50 Robusto – the new Belicoso uses an Ecuadoran Connecticut wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler. Michael Norton of Sentinel Cigars says it is a medium to full flavor profile but the Belicoso shape was blended to be a notch stronger than the Robusto and Toro. It also features a new single band design that will further distinguish it from its predecessors.
The cigar is scheduled to be released at a private event on Monday, November 11 in Scottsdale, Ariz. Production is estimated to be at approximately 10,000 cigars and the cigar comes with an MSRP of $10.80 per stick. All proceeds from the sale of Sentinel Cigars go to the Sentinels of Freedom Scholarship Foundation, which provides up to four years of “life scholarships” to help vets become self-sufficient.
The debut line is named for Ryan Job, a Sentinels of Freedom Scholarship recipient and US Navy Seal who was blinded by sniper fire while providing cover for his unit during a firefight in Iraq. He was the first Sentinel in the foundation’s Arizona chapter and had successfully attained all his credits for his BS degree and had been hired by General Dynamics prior to passing away due to complications from re-constructive surgery. At the time of his death, his wife was three months pregnant with their first child.
The Sentinel Cigars Little Havana Series made its debut at the 2012 IPCPR Convention and Trade Show.
