San Lotano Oval Pigskin Super Smoke Heads to Northeast

The New York/New Jersey area will be receiving a special San Lotano Oval Habano later this month. A.J. Fernandez is making a box-pressed 6 x 60 vitola shaped similar to a football for two events. The San Lotano Oval Pigskin Super Smoke will debut at Cigar Emporium in Lyndhurst N.J. on November 14 and will head to Cigar Republic in Elmsford, N.Y. on November 21.

Clay Roberts of A.J. Fernandez told halfwheel it will retail for $13.50 and sell in boxes of ten. Earlier today, Brad Seiderer of A.J. Fernandez tweeted pictures of the boxes.

Each box is individually numbered, the first 500 will carry the Cigar Emporium logo on the bottom of the box, while the remaining boxes 501-1,000 are designated for Cigar Republic.

The stores are not related, although Cigar Republic is the brick and mortar store owned by the same family who owns Atlantic Cigar Co.

Football cigars aren’t new. Arturo Fuente has made the OpusX Football for Dan Marino’s charity, while Gunnar Heilmann owns a company called Football Cigar that produces just football cigars.
