The Padrón W. Curtis Draper 125th Anniversary will be a 6 x 46 round puro. A post by W. Curtis Draper with a list of auction items for its annual Little Puff charity auction has revealed the size, as a signed box will be part of the auction.

The post reads:

George Padron has created his version of the W. Curtis Draper 125th Anniversary Cigar and this is sure to be highly sought after. This “Puro” measures 6″ x 46 and is round instead of box pressed, a departure for the Padron standard. The box being offered holds 50 cigars and is signed. Retail: $1,000.00

This sets pricing for the cigar at $20.00 a piece, although the actual cost will likely vary between Draper’s D.C. and Maryland locations. Padrón is set to be the third manufacturer of four contracted to make special cigars for the Washington D.C. retailer’s 125th anniversary following Havana Cellars’ Cabaiguan WCD 120 REDUX and La Aurora’s 100 Años. The fourth manufacturer is Arturo Fuente.

In June, this photo emerged of the cigar:

Earlier this month the Padrón Family Reserve Fox 225 Anniversary Cabinet Selection was announced for British retailer J.J. Fox’s 225th anniversary.

Also of note from W. Curtis Draper was a special box of the La Flor Dominicana Limitado V Maduro, a single box made solely for the event.
