Padrón Begins Shipping 1926 Four Packs

After debuting them at the 2013 IPCPR Convention and Trade Show, Padrón began shipping its 1926 Serie four packs today, according to an article on

The packs were developed as an alternative to the wooden boxes previously used for the company’s samplers, giving consumers a more convenient and compact format.  The packs are available in four vitola options–the 6 3/4 x 54 No. 1, the 5 1/2 x 52 Belicoso No. 2; the 4 3/4 x 50 No. 6 and 5 1/4 x 56 No. 9. The only size not to be featured in the four packs is the 4 x 48 No. 35. In the sizes that are available, both the maduro and natural versions are being offered.

Pricing for the four packs ranges from $52.80 to $84.80 and should be arriving at retail by the end of the week.

About the author

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for, plus I'm a voice over artist. I previously covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
