Matt Booth of Room101 Brand took to social media this weekend to announce the upcoming launch of the Room101 Brand online boutique and a clothing collection.

Booth posted a picture of this t-shirt to his Instagram, Twitter and Facebook accounts late Saturday night:

Then early on Sunday morning, Booth posted this picture of this Sakura hoodie as another teaser for the store’s launch:

The launch of the online boutique comes as Room101 continues to grow and evolve, with one of the most noticeable changes being the use of the Room101 Brand name. Booth updated the company’s Facebook and Twitter pages to the new name, and has launched a landing page for a new website that is currently under development. He has also begun using the Sakura logo – featured on both pieces of clothing above – to encompass Room101’s range of projects that includes cigars, jewelry and bespoke leather goods.

Update: Booth says he is hoping for the online store to be open in approximately two weeks. In addition to apparel, it will also have the company’s full stainless steel and bead collections. It’s “a ton of stuff I have been holding back for this shining and effervescent moment!” he added.

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and previously the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for Major League Baseball, plus I'm a voice over artist. Prior to joining halfwheel, I covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
