Late last night, La Palina received their shipment of their new Petit Corona (4 1/4 x 40), the KB, short for Kill Bill. The cigar is a play on the name of company head Bill Paley, grandson of the company’s founder, Samuel Paley.

The KB is part of La Palina’s El Diaro line, which is made at the Raíces Cubanas factory in Danlí, Honduras with the assistance from Alec Bradley’s Alan Rubin.

The KB will be offered in boxes of four, with MSRP at $35 per four-pack or $8.75 per cigar. Retailers will receive four-packs in sleeves of five, meaning 20 per cigars per sleeve.

Newly-appointed national sales manager Raphael Delagdo confirmed that La Palina will begin shipping the El Diaro KB today. El Diaro KB is a regular production cigar, although Delgado has indicated that the initial shipment is small.

Previously, La Palina had indicated possible delays regarding the KB arrival.
