Indiana’s smoking bill was signed into law by Gov. Mitch Daniels earlier today. The law will limit indoor smoking, although includes exemptions for tobacco shops, bars and casinos.

While the law will not go into effect until July, there would appear to be a few kinks in the language of the bill that are not fully resolved. As noted by The News-Sentinel’s Kevin Leininger earlier in the week, language regarding the limiting of food and drink purchases in cigar shops has not been resolved.
