In one of the more minor price increases of the last year, Illusione’s Epernay and ULTRA lines will see a small increase in price. Brand owner Dion Giolito announced the changes in a letter to retailers. Because the suggested retail price for Illusione products is not attached to wholesale pricing at a consistent mark-up, not all prices are going up and the cigars that are, aren’t going up at a consistent rate.

The changes mean Epernay now ranges from $7 for the Le Petit to $25 for the newly introduced Le Voyage (9 1/4 x 49). Le Taureau and La Vie prices will remain at $11.50 and $12.50 respectively.

Le Petit (now $7) and L’Excellence (now $9.60) each went up 10 cents per cigar. The Le Elegance effectively increased by 10 cents per cigar, it’s price is now $414.96 for a cabinet of 50.

Le Grande will now retail for $9.05 per cigar, Le Monde will cost $10.10, L’Alpiniste is now $12.15 and Le Matin now carries an MSRP of $11.35 per cigar.

For ULTRA, only the OP No. 1 will see a price increase, going from $12.40 to $12.50. The OP No. 4 remains at $9.95 per cigar and the OP No. 9 still carries an MSRP of $11.50.

All prices are the suggested retail price and do not include any local taxes.
