Gurkha Adds 125th Anniversary Special Edition to IPCPR Releases

Gurkha has announced that they will be unveiling a new special edition line extension to their 125th Anniversary brand at this summer’s IPCPR Convention and Trade Show.

The line is a limited edition trio of cigars that features similar blend components of the existing 125th Anniversary, but with three different varieties of wrapper. There will be a 6 x 60 vitola will use an Ecuadorian Connecticut shade grown leaf and come packed in 16-count boxes.

There will also be a second 6 x 60 vitola that uses a Connecticut broadleaf maduro and will come in a 16-count box as well. The new line extension is rounded out by a 6 x 52 vitola that uses a Honduran Corojo wrapper and comes in 18-count boxes. According to a spokesman for Gurkha, there are only a limited number of each variety.

In addition to the Gurkha 125th Anniversary Limited Edition, the Gurkha Pure Evil will be getting a line extension as the company will unveil a 7 x 70 vitola called Goliath at the show.

Also, the company is planning on launching a new four-pack of Robustos from their Evil, Ghost, Royal Challenge and Seduction lines, as well as a buy three, get one sampler featuring their Cellar Reserve, Royal Challenge, Ghost and Seduction lines.

The company has already announced a trio of new releases, the East India Trading Company Prize Fighter, the East India Trading Company Rogue, and the Gurkha Cellar Reserve Limitada.

Additional details about the new cigars will be released during the trade show.
