Once the subject of good-hearted requests on Twitter, the Guillermo León by La Aurora Lancero will be released this year as part of the 126th anniversary celebrations for Washington D.C.-based W. Curtis Draper. The 7 x 40 cigar will be limited to 200 10-count boxes with pricing at $9.00 per cigar or $90.00 per box.

This is the second single store release for the blend, which released a special Gran Corona (A)-sized vitola for Habana Premium Cigar Shoppe’s HabanaPalooza last year. At this year’s trade show, the company announced another limited edition vitola: a box-pressed Guillermo León.

The cigars will debut at the D.C. store and Civil Cigar Lounge on September 6 and the Bethesda, Md. location the following day. La Aurora head Guillermo León and Miami Cigar & Co. executive Jason Wood will be on hand for both events.

This is neither the first special La Aurora Lancero Drapers has gotten, nor is it their first 126th anniversary cigar. In 2010, the store received a special La Aurora Preferidos Maduro Lancero for its 123rd anniversary, it also received special cigars for its 124th and 125th anniversaries. Earlier this year, My Father presented the first limited cigar for the 126th anniversary.
