Glynn County, Ga. Eyes Smoking Ban

On Thursday, the Glynn County Commission is expected to take up a vote over the second phase of its smoking ban which would prohibit smoking at municipal departments and all parks, except for beaches and the St. Simons Island pier. While the latter remain exempt in the current proposal, it remains unclear how long it will remain of the targeted list of areas for the County Commission.

Glynn County has a population over 80,000 and is located in southeast Georgia.
