Today Fuente confirmed that Casa Fuente has added a new blend to the existing cigars it sells.

The new blend comes in three different vitolas so far, and is different from the existing Casa Fuente blend in that it uses a Rosado wrapper instead of a Cammeroon wrapper that is on the original Casa Fuente cigars, according to a salesman at the store.

There are three different vitolas that are known as of this moment, with more sizes presumably coming in the future. They are:

  • 806 — Robusto — $21.00
  • 807 — Double Robusto — $22.00
  • 808 — Unknown — $24.00

As of this moment, this cigar is a limited release, with people only able to purchase 2 of each size, much like the Casa Fuente Lanceros and other limited cigars.

I have been smoking cigars for over eight years. A documentary wedding photographer by trade, I spent seven years as a photojournalist for the Dallas Morning News and the Fort Worth Star Telegram. I started the cigar blog SmokingStogie in 2008 after realizing that there was a need for a cigar blog with better photographs and more in-depth information about each release. SmokingStogie quickly became one of the more influential cigar blogs on the internet, known for reviewing preproduction, prerelease, rare, extremely hard-to-find and expensive cigars. I am a co-founder of halfwheel and now serve as an editor for halfwheel.
