E.P. Carrillo Confirms INCH 7 x 70 and Band for Perez-Carrillo Line

E.P. Carrillo has confirmed that they will be adding a 7 x 70 vitola to their INCH line, which debuted at the 2012 IPCPR convention and trade show.

In a video with OverACigar.com filmed at CigarFest, Ernesto Perez-Carrillo announced the release, saying that the INCH has been “very, very popular for us.” Ernesto Perez-Carrillo III confirmed the details with halfwheel on Friday afternoon.

In keeping with the names of the rest of the line, the cigar will be called for the INCH No. 70 and will share the same blend. It will be available in both natural and maduro wrappers and come with a price tag of $12 per cigar.

The INCH Maduro uses a Connecticut Maduro wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and filler from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. The natural version uses an Ecuadorian wrapper over the same binder and filler.

E.P. Carrillo joins a number of manufacturers who have embraced the 7 x 70 vitola, including Asylum, Kristoff, Toraño, Gran Habano, J.F.R. and several others.

Carrillo also confirmed that an image of the new band for the Perez-Carrillo line posted by Dan Reeve of Cigar Press is indeed the band for the project, but the blend has not been finalized so a release date has not been set yet.
