Batesville, Ind. Eyes Park Smoking Ban

Null

Amongst other changes to park ordinances, Batesville, Ind.’s Parks Commissioner Mike Baumer has proposed revisiting the topic of a smoking ban at the city’s park. Baumer isn’t opposed to a designated smoking area at at least one park, but it remains to be seen if that will be included in proposals to the city council. At this times, it does not appear the move is scheduled for a vote.

Batesville is a city of 6,500 in southeast Indiana. It is approximately an hour away from both Indianapolis and Cincinnati.
