Arsen Cigars has confirmed that they will be debuting a new line, the Arsen Pink for Men, at the upcoming IPCPR convention and trade show in Orlando, FL.

The new line uses tobacco from the Dominican Republic, with the wrapper a Habano HVA varietal, a Cuban seed from Pinar del Rio that has been grown at Navarette farm. The binder is a Cubano San Vicente varietal.

Photos of the new line first surfaced in late June via Arsen Cigars’ Facebook page:

From the release notes sent regarding the new line:

The wrapper leaf of Arsen Pink for Men cigars is from historical farm of Navarrete where in 1962 Carlos Torano, Sr. tried to grow the very first Dominican wrapper leaves, then this farm has been purchased by Augusto Reyes family.

The Arsen Pink for Men will be available in four sizes, all packed in 25-count boxes:

  • Toro — 6  x 58
  • Belicoso — 6  x 54
  • Robusto — 5  x 52
  • Petit Corona — 4 1/2 x 40

The Arsen Pink for Men will join the Arsen Connoisseur Selection as the company’s two offerings. MSRP for the Arsen Pink for Men line is between $6.40 – $7.00 before taxes.

An earlier version of this story reported the Toro as 6 1/4, the Belicoso as 6 1/ 4 and the Robusto as 5 1/4,

I strive to capture the essence of a cigar and the people behind them in my work – every cigar you light up is the culmination of the work of countless people and often represents generations of struggle and stories. For me, it’s about so much more than the cigar – it’s about the story behind it, the experience of enjoying the work of artisans and the way that a good cigar can bring people together. In addition to my work with halfwheel, I’m the public address announcer for the Colorado Rockies and Arizona Diamondbacks during spring training, as well as for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League, the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury and the Arizona Rattlers of the Indoor Football League. I also work in a number of roles for MLB.com, plus I'm a voice over artist. I previously covered the Phoenix and national cigar scene for Examiner.com, and was an editor for Cigar Snob magazine.
