Clint Aaron of 262 Cigars has announced the addition of a Lancero vitola to the company’s Revere line that will come out in either June or July of 2013.
The announcement was made Thursday on RobbyRasReviews.com’s weekly CigarChat. You can see the announcement around the 18-minute mark.
The 262 Revere line was first announced in June, with more details revealed in July before making its debut at the 2012 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show in Orlando this past August and shipping in October. The Revere is currently available in Corona, Robusto and box-pressed Toro vitolas, as well as a store-exclusive Lonsdale that is only available at J. Shepherd Cigars in Louisville, KY.
The 262 Revere is a Nicaraguan puro with a wrapper from the Jalapa Valley, a double binder of both Jalapa and Estelí tobaccos, and a combination of Estelí, Condega and Jalapa tobaccos for the filler. Plasencia Cigars S.A. in Esteli, Nicaragua is handling production of the line.
