Nat Sherman Adding Robusto & Gordo to Timeless Dominican

Nat Sherman has announced that two new vitolas will be added to the Dominican version of the company’s Timeless Collection line, a Robusto (4 3/4 x 50, $7.50) and a Gordo (6 x 60, $8.75).

Both new sizes will come in 20-count boxes and will be on display at this month’s IPCPR Convention & Trade Show happening July 25-28 in Las Vegas, Nev. Shipping of the new sizes is expected to begin shortly after the show concludes.

The Nat Sherman Timeless Collection debuted at the company’s Townhouse in New York at the end of 2011 before spreading nationwide in early 2012, and uses a Honduran wrapper over Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers with a Dominican binder, with production handled by Quesada Cigars at the company’s factory in Licey, Dominican Republic. It debuted in four sizes, Churchill (7 x 48), Hermoso (5 1/4 x 54), No. 2 (6 1/4 x 52) and No. 5 (3 3/4 x 43), before adding two more sizes that summer, Especiales (6 x 38) and Divinos (5 x 32/50/36). A Super Lancero (8 x 38) was added at the end of 2013, and an unreleased vitola called No. 16 (7 x 50/33) was created for Michael Herklots’ annual birthday celebration and fundraiser in 2012.

A Nicaraguan version of the Timeless Collection was introduced at the 2012 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show.
