After a party celebrating its launch a couple of weeks ago, the Montecristo Wide Edmundo has begun shipping to stores in Spain.

The Montecristo Wide Edmundo is a new 4 11/12 (125mm) x 54 vitola that Habanos S.A. is calling the Duke No. 3. This is the first time that Habanos S.A. has used this size. In Spain, it is priced at €20 ($19.68) per cigar and comes in boxes of 25 cigars.

When the cigar was announced last May, Habanos S.A. said that it would be offered in boxes of 25 as well as 10-count boxes of tubos. The tubos have not arrived in Spain and it’s unclear when they might be released.

The Wide Edmundo is a regular production addition to the Montecristo line. It’s debuted in Spain and will be a Spanish exclusive for a limited amount of time before Habanos S.A. releases it to other markets.
