Next month, the Montecristo Espada brand will get its darkest offering to date..
It comes in the form of the Montecristo Espada Oscuro, a three-size line of cigars made entirely of Nicaraguan tobacco from the Plasencia family. Rafael Nodal, head of product capability for Tabacalera USA, selected the habano rosado oscuro wrapper, which was then blended with tobaccos by Nodal, Pedro Ventura of Tabacalera USA and the Plasencias.
