Altadis U.S.A.’s latest cigar from the Plasencia family is off to stores.

The company began shipping the Montecristo Espada Oscuro this week. The new line is made by the Plasencia family in Nicaragua using only Nicaraguan tobacco.

It is offered in three regular production sizes.

  • Montecristo Espada Oscuro Ricasso (5 x 54)  — $13.27 (Box of 10, $132.70)
  • Montecristo Espada Oscuro Guarde (6 x 50) — $13.80 (Box of 10, $138)
  • Montecristo Espada Oscuro Quillon (7 x 56) — $14.60 (Box of 10, $146)

The first Plasencia-made Montecristo arrived in stores nearly five years ago.
