Medford, Ore. Smoking Ban Punishments Moving Forward
Smoking in and around parks in Medford, Ore. may soon carry a punishment. The City Council has agreed to formally consider adding punishments to a recent ban on smoking in parks. Earlier this month, Medford Parks and Recreation banned smoking, but as of now, police cannot fine violators.
Medford is located in central Oregon with a population around 75,000 persons.
The state of Oregon is considering a ban on state parks.
