Jean François Poillot has been promoted to U.S. sales manager for Maya Selva Cigars.

He took over the role in February after spending nearly four years with the company focusing on various parts of France. A spokesperson for the company said that he was assigned the job because of his “ample expertise with the house brands, and familiarity with the U.S. market.”

Maya Selva’s portfolio includes the Cumpay, Flor de Selva and Villa Zamorano lines.
