Maya Selva has announced that it will add a new size to its Flor de Selva Maduro line in the form of Grand Pressé, a 6 x 56 box-pressed toro gordo.

“After assessing our portfolio, and analyzing the field as to what niche we had yet to cover,” said Gabriel Alvarez, the company’s U.S. sales director, in a press release. “We came to the determination that a ‘prensado’ was the natural choice to round out our maduro collection, especially due to to the enormous success of our Toro Maduro, released at last year’s IPCPR trade show in New Orleans, LA.”

It uses a Honduran habano wrapper, Brazilian mata fina binder and Honduran fillers. Suggested retail pricing is $11.75 and it will be offered in 10-count boxes.

The line will debut at the 2016 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show which begins July 25 in Las Vegas and begin shipping shortly thereafter.
