On Tuesday, the Village of Lyndonville, Vt. passed a smoking ban for the village’s parks.

Effective July 19, smoking will be banned in all public parks in Lyndonville. That ban will include smoking traditional tobacco products, as well as the use of e-cigarettes and vaping products.

Violators will be asked to stop smoking or vaping. If they don’t obey the order, they can be fined $50.

Lyndonville has a population around 1,200 people.
