Luciano Cigars Names Ed Treviño as Director of Sales
Luciano Cigars—formerly known as ACE Prime—has named Ed Treviño as the company’s new director of sales.
Treviño has worked in the cigar business for nearly three decades including a long tenure at General Cigar Co. and most recently as a regional sales representative for Crowned Heads.
“We are so proud to announce Ed Treviño has joined our team,” said Luciano Meirelles, co-founder and president of Luciano Cigars, in a press release. “Ed is a remarkable leader, whose character and humility always stand as a foundation for his leadership. It’s a gift to have him – I have no doubt about it!”
Luciano Cigars will be taking over its own distribution effective Nov. 1. Previously, Crowned Heads has been the distributor of ACE Prime. However, that distribution agreement will come to an end on Oct. 31 after an acrimonious split between the two companies.
The press release lists the Luciano Cigars’ portfolio as Fiat Lux, Luciano the Dream, Maria Lucia, Mas Igneus and MXS.
