Los Caidos has announced that it will add new packaging options for its cigars.

A new 22-count box will be offered to retailers which contain 22 cigars: 10 red-banded 6 x 54 toros, 10 blue-banded 6 x 54 toros and two of the box-pressed torpedo size. Los Caidos says it donates $1 of each cigar to charities benefitting the families of fallen police officers and firefighters.

The blend is a Nicaraguan puro using corojo 99 and criollo 98 fillers from Estelí and Jalapa. Previously, the cigars have been sold in 11-count boxes containing 10 toros and one torpedo in one of the two colors.

Up until now, Los Caidos has been offered only through JR Cigar and its associated retailers, but the company will now open up distribution to brick-and-mortar retailers through Cigar Marketplace.

In addition to the 22-count boxes, the company is also adding 47-count refill boxes for retailers.

Both packaging options will be on sale at the 2019 IPCPR Convention & Trade Show, which begins June 29 in Las Vegas.
