Drew Estate’s European exclusive Liga Privada is now on shelves.

Last week, German retailers began offering the Liga Privada Único Serie Bauhaus, a new 4 1/2 x 50 short robusto that uses a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper over a Brazilian binder and fillers from Honduras and Nicaragua. It’s part of the Liga Privada Único Serie, a collection of cigars that aren’t part of one of the core Liga Privada lines.

While pricing will vary depending on the country, it is set in Germany at €18 ($21.89) per cigar. Most, but not all, Único Serie cigars are regular production items. Drew Estate has not stated if Bauhaus is a limited item.

When the cigar was announced in early December, a press release from Drew Estate implied that it was shipping to distributors and would arrive at stores shortly. Drew Estate clarified that there were issues that delayed its launch.

Bauhaus is a European exclusive that will be offered in countries around the continent. It is scheduled to go on sale in the Netherlands beginning March 1. As of today, there are no other set dates for launches in other countries.

Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG) distributes Drew Estate’s products in Europe.
