The newest L’Atelier—Extension de la Racine—is heading to retailers. Sean Johnson of L’Atelier Imports tweeted that he began shipping the first 150 boxes earlier this week and expects to continue shipping the cigars every week this month. The cigar was introduced and sold exclusively at IPCPR 2013 as a reward for retailers who attended the annual trade show and convention.

The 5 7/8 x 52 ER13 will retail for $9.25 per cigar of $185.00 per boxes of 20. It features a Nicaraguan sun grown criollo wrapper with Nicaraguan fillers including the sancti spiritus tobacco that has been featured on a few other cigars from My Father Cigars S.A. It is modeled after the popular Cohiba Siglo VI from Habanos S.A.

Johnson said the cigars are shipping in the order that retailers purchased the cigar at the trade show.

It is expected there will be an additional version of the cigar at next year’s trade show.
