The Las Calaveras Edición Limitada 2021 is now shipping nationwide.

It’s the eighth consecutive year that Crowned Heads has made a Las Calaveras release and like every version since 2016, there are four vitolas. Each use the same blend: an Ecuadorian Sumatra oscuro wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and fillers from Nicaragua. The Las Calaveras 2021 is made at the Garcia family’s My Father Cigars S.A.

Three of the sizes are sold in boxes of 24, while a fourth size—the Petit Lancero—is only offered in samplers, which includes one of each of the four sizes.

  • Las Calaveras Edición Limitada 2021 LC48 (6 x 48) — $10.95 (Box of 24, $262.80)
  • Las Calaveras Edición Limitada 2021 LC50 (5 x 50) — $11.95 (Box of 24, $286.80)
  • Las Calaveras Edición Limitada 2021 LC54 (5 3/4 x 54) — $12.95 (Box of 24, $310.80)
  • Las Calaveras Edición Limitada 2021 Petit Lancero (6 1/2 x 40) — $14.10 (Sampler of 4, $49.95)

Production is limited to 1,250 boxes of each of the three sizes and 1,750 samplers. The line was originally announced to ship in July.

Las Calaveras is an annual limited edition for the company that pays tribute to those close to the company’s personnel who have lost their lives. The name comes from La Calavera Catrina, a zinc etching by José Guadalupe Posada.
